This has great inspirational pictures to color. It is great and I love it.
I received this book yesterday and immediately started coloring in it. The verses are not all exact quotes from Scripture, but are still faith filled. For example "Be still and know that I am with you" is still comforting, but the exact quote would be "Be still and know that I am God." The Bible verse noted is correct for the exact quote. That said, there may be a Bible translation out there that uses the printed quote. A quick Google shows that the former is used as lyrics in a song. Some of them ARE direct quotes, however, so whether you will like the book depends on what you are looking for. The ones I have colored so far have been detailed enough to be a challenge, but not so detailed as to make it frustrating. There is one drawing per page. I put an empty file folder between pages to prevent leakage through to the other page. There is a bit of white space so that you can cut out the pictures if you desire to, for framing.
Cant get enough.. Its very relaxing and very inspirational. Its a different way of appreciating God's word. I highly recommend it. I will put it on a frame and hang around my house.
This coloring book was one out of four that I had purchased, so this review is about Faith in Color and how it compares to the other three highly rated coloring books I had purchased. Now, keep in mind when selecting a coloring book we all have different preferences so this is not meant to be a negative review, it is simply my opinion. Compared to the other coloring books the designs are not ideal. In quite a few of them the text is so integrated into the design that it is hard to read. The designs themselves weren’t what I was looking for. It appears to me that the designs were done in a way that makes it look “busy†and not ‘cleanâ€. For instance, the word “Pray†has intricate designs inside somewhat thin lettering that makes it not only time consuming but tedious as well. Not really relaxing. Also, the lettering seemed off on quite a few. Compared to another one I bought where I could color, frame and keep it or give it away that was not the case with this coloring book. Each page has a scripture quote and reference. Pages are printed on standard coloring book stock, others I had purchase were printed on cover stock. I do like the scripture references though in my opinion the actual design does not reflect the scripture reference, but some do. Some of the letters on the pages are missing the “holes†for “e†“Bâ€, etc… so either you make them yourself while coloring or just color in a solid letter. Pages are bright white. Overall, this coloring book does force you to be creative and gives you hours of coloring. It definitely keeps you engaged. The end result really depends on you and the colors you select as it can make or break a design. So, in that respect it is a great coloring book. Of the four I purchased I would say this ranked second.
Super cute. Lines were a bit funky and detached. Made use of the black space. Verses on each page. First adult coloring book. No regrets.
A lovely idea but poorly executed. The paper is thin, the detail is tiny, and less than half the number of pages noted in the product details are actually a coloring page. The designs are beautiful and the verses are refreshing Scriptures. This is a $5 coloring book but it could be worth $10 if put together well. I would suggest enlarging the design to fit the whole page, printing on thick paper, and perforating each page for easy removal. The product description needs clarification, also. The number of pages listed is misleading.
It is so great to color and while coloring, ponder over the beautiful Scripture verses in this book. My sister is just starting into dementia and I gave her this book. She loves it and says that it is so relaxing and calming .
Like the Bible verse on each page & flower or other designs on each page. So much fun & so relaxing to color them in with colored pencils or markers!
Great verses with pretty designs and patterns to color. Pages are thick enough that color does not bleed through with my markers.
